DevOps Engineer
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on DevOps Engineer to join our growing team and help build, operate, and continuously improve our cloud-native infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for cloud and Kubernetes resources
- Build, maintain, and optimize complex CI/CD pipelines, primarily using Jenkins Implement and operate GitOps workflows using Argo CD for Kubernetes deployments
- Manage and support Kubernetes environments (GKE), including deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to streamline build, deployment, and release processes
- Administer and maintain SQL databases (provisioning, backups, access control, basic performance tuning)
- Ensure reliability, security, and automation across infrastructure and delivery pipelines
- Participate in troubleshooting incidents and improving system observability and resilience
Required Qualifications
- 1β2 years of commercial experience in a DevOps / Cloud / Platform Engineering role
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Practical experience with Kubernetes, preferably Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools:
- Jenkins (preferred)
- or GitLab CI / GitHub Actions - Experience managing infrastructure using Terraform
- Working knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
- Experience with scripting and automation using Bash and/or Python
- Understanding of Git-based workflows and collaborative development practices
Nice to Have
- Experience with observability tools such as Grafana and Loki
- Familiarity with GCP Data Fusion or other data integration services
- Experience working in GitOps-driven environments at scale
- Google Cloud certifications (Associate or Professional level)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work cross-functionally with developers and product teams
