Team Lead Manual QA Engineer

Tech Stack: PHP 8, Laravel, MySQL, ClickHouse, Redis, Docker, AWS, SQS, WebSockets, Sentry, NewRelic.
Your Role:
- As the Team Lead QA Engineer at NuxGame, you will be responsible for leading our Manual QA team, strategizing resource allocation, setting priorities, and optimizing both team and project processes. Your leadership will ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage the Manual QA team, promoting best practices in QA methodologies.
- Develop and implement advanced training programs for QA methodologies and tools specific to NuxGame's operational needs.
- Engage in strategic planning and execution of test plans to ensure comprehensive coverage of all features and functionalities.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation in testing strategies and processes.
- Lead by example in adopting new technologies and methodologies that enhance product quality and team efficiency.
- Act as a key liaison between the QA team and other departments, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across projects.
- Enhance the QA team's capabilities in test automation, including API and Web Front-End testing, to improve efficiency and coverage.
Design and monitor key performance indicators for the QA process, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
What We Expect:
- Over 4 years of experience as a QA Engineer, with significant exposure to web application testing.
- A minimum of 2 years in a leadership role, with proven skills in team management and process optimization.
- Advanced knowledge in teaching and overseeing training processes for various testing sub-types and NuxGame’s toolset.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Desirable Skills:
- Expertise in test automation, preferably with experience in API or Web Front-End testing.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JS, or TS.
- Experience with Docker and CI tools like Jenkins.
