Network Analyst/Engineer
Required Experience & Knowledge:
- 2+ years in a helpdesk or ticket-management role;
- OR a 2-year degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technology field;
- Entry-level networking certs (A+/CCNA/or equivalent) or demonstrated understanding of foundational network concepts;
- Strong English fluency (written and spoken).
Solid grasp of:
- The OSI model (and what layers specific technologies live on);
- Basic routing concepts: static routes, VPN crypto maps, VTI interfaces;
- VLANs and 802.1Q tagging;
- Wi-Fi: 2.4/5 GHz, SSIDs, authentication (WPA2/3, 802.1X);
- IP addressing, VLSM and supernetting.
Ability to navigate and interpret:
- Cisco NX-OS (CLI);
- Meraki Dashboard;
- Firepower Management Center (FMC).
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and investigative approach to incomplete or ambiguous tickets;
- Confidence in making first-pass assessments without step-by-step instructions;
- Excellent written and spoken English; able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users;
- Comfortable working independently during CET overnight hours;
- Familiarity with firewalls, routers, switches, and access points in any modern enterprise envrnmnt;
