Lead Generation Manager (Upwork)

We are looking for a Upwork Lead Generation Specialist to build and scale a stable pipeline through Upwork. This role is fully focused on lead quality, reply rate, and real booked meetings with qualified clients.


You will work directly with the sales team and have a measurable impact on revenue. We offer a clear fixed salary plus a transparent performance-based bonus.
 

Your Responsibilities

You’ll be at the center of our sales engine, turning opportunities into real business. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Daily sourcing of relevant projects and clients on Upwork
  • Full-cycle lead generation: job analysis, client profiling, and first-touch messaging
  • Writing personalized proposals that drive replies and meetings
  • Pre-qualification of leads before handoff to Sales Managers
  • Tracking all activity in Asana and keeping clean outreach data
  • Close collaboration with Sales Managers to improve conversion and lead quality
  • Continuous testing of messaging, proposal structures, and positioning
     

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Upwork lead generation
  • Understanding of how IT outstaff or outsourcing services are sold
  • Confident written English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher
  • Ability to work with volume without losing message quality
  • Experience using ChatGPT or similar tools for job analysis and proposal drafting
     

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Airtable, n8n, Asana, or ClickUp
  • Experience in IT agencies or staffing companies
