Data Engineer

Digis is looking for a Data Engineer to join a long-term partnership with a well-known US e-commerce and lifestyle brand.

You will work directly with the internal Data Lead, improve a mature data infrastructure, maintain ETL pipelines, and support new AI-driven workflows.
 

About the Project

A popular US men’s lifestyle retailer. The current focus is on maintaining and enhancing existing data systems, scaling ETL pipelines, integrating AI tools, and supporting new internal automation processes.
 

Responsibilities

• Maintain and refactor Python ETL pipelines
• Support new Airtable workflows via API integrations
• Scale and split API services
• Implement and test data processes locally (pub/sub emulation)
• Participate in Agile development with direct access to the Data Lead
 

Requirements

• 2+ years as a Data Engineer
• 1+ years with Python
• 1+ years with SQL
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines
• Cloud data tools (Databricks / GCP or similar)
• English: Upper-Intermediate +
