Senior Key Account Manager (Merchants)

Role Type: Strategic commercial KAM for high-risk PSP
Reporting: Head of KAM Merchants / CBDO
Location: Remote / EU timezone
A Senior KAM who manages strategic merchants, drives turnover growth, increases LTV,
strengthens relationships, and handles high-level escalations. This is a commercial role, not
support. The candidate must be able to negotiate, own accounts end-to-end, understand
payments and high-risk verticals, and lead the commercial stream of onboarding.
Key Requirements:
- 3โ5+ years as KAM / Senior KAM / Account Director in PSP, fintech, iGaming, high-risk.
- Full ownership of a revenue-generating merchant portfolio (not Customer Support).
- Experience in high-risk verticals: gambling, betting, crypto, forex.
- Proven experience running QBRs, building growth plans, working with KPIs.
- Cross-functional experience with Tech, Compliance, Legal, Finance.
Skills:
- Deep understanding of payment flows: APMs, routing, conversions, holds, CB-rate.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills.
- CRM + Confluence + Jira proficiency.
- Portfolio analytics: volumes, margins, limits, risk indicators.
- Experience onboarding high-risk merchants.
