🎯 Job Description

We’re scaling a large portfolio of newsletters and are looking for a Newsletter Analytics Specialist with a strong marketing analytics background to build and own the data and tracking foundation of our operation.

This role is essential for ensuring that our analytics setup is accurate, reliable, and able to support performance decisions across 100+ newsletters. You’ll maintain data quality, set up tracking links, build dashboards, and deliver insights that help the team improve engagement, growth, and monetization.

Speed, accuracy, and a marketer’s mindset are key β€” you should understand how metrics translate into strategy and be able to turn numbers into clear recommendations.

This role also comes with a growth path: as the volume of data increases, you’ll have the opportunity to build and coordinate an analytics/data team to support our expanding newsletter network.

πŸ“Œ Requirements

  • Strong spreadsheet and data-handling skills (Google Sheets/Excel).

  • Experience with Looker Studio or similar data visualization/reporting tools.

  • Detail-oriented and fast - able to handle large volumes without mistakes.

  • Proactive, curious, and able to interpret data into actionable steps.

  • Understanding of campaign tracking, audience performance metrics, and marketing funnels.

  • English level: B2+.

πŸ”§ Key Responsibilities

  • Build dashboards and reporting structures in Looker Studio.

  • Track and report key marketing performance metrics.

  • Identify anomalies or irregularities early and flag issues quickly.

  • Maintain clean, accurate, structured data that supports decision-making across publishing and marketing teams.

⭐ Nice to Have

  • Experience using AI tools and automations.

  • Knowledge of postbacks, sub IDs, tracking parameters, and affiliate attribution systems.

  • Background in marketing analytics, performance analytics, or growth reporting.

  • Familiarity with SQL or other query languages (not required, but a bonus).

  • Prior work in high-volume digital publishing or newsletters.

🌟 Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Thinks like a marketer and understands how data connects to business goals.

  • Enjoys organizing, structuring, and maintaining clean, reliable datasets.

  • Spots anomalies early and flags issues proactively.

  • Works fast without sacrificing accuracy.

  • Communicates insights clearly and simply.

  • Learns quickly and adapts to new tools or data sources.

  • Is proactive, independent, and takes ownership of the analytics pipeline.

  • Is excited about the future opportunity to lead and manage a data/analytics team as the newsletter portfolio and data volume grow.
