SMM and Community Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, proactive and data-driven SMM & Community Manager who will grow, engage and strengthen our trader community across social platforms. Your goal is to build trust, deliver clear communication, attract new traders through content, and maintain a strong brand presence for a global prop trading firm.

You’ll work at the intersection of marketing, product and support teams — creating content, managing communities, and driving conversations that build loyalty and brand love.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Management

  • Develop and execute content strategy for X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Telegram, Discord.
  • Create and publish engaging daily content (posts, threads, reels, short videos, stories).
  • Plan monthly content calendars aligned with marketing goals and product updates.
  • Collaborate with designers, video editors, and influencers for high-quality content.
  • Track performance and optimize content based on analytics (reach, ER, CTR, audience growth).

2. Community Management

  • Manage trader communities across Discord/Telegram/YouTube/Reddit.
  • Keep chats active, moderated, safe and positive.
  • Spark conversations, run polls, Q&A sessions, weekly updates.
  • Build relationships with active traders, creators, streamers, reviewers.
  • Respond to community questions quickly (non-trading advice).
  • Identify power users, ambassadors, and micro-influencers.

3. Reputation & Brand Awareness

  • Monitor mentions on social media, review platforms, forums, Discord, Telegram groups.
  • Build a strong, trustworthy brand tone in the prop community.
  • Support PR campaigns, manage feedback loops, initiate positive engagement.
  • Work with affiliate team and creators to amplify brand visibility.

4. Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Сreate scripts, captions, short threads, memes, educational posts.
  • Turn product updates, payouts, trader stories and market events into content.
  • Create content that clearly explains rules, processes and product features.

5. Campaigns & Engagement Activities

  • Run giveaways, contests, AMAs, challenges and weekly interactive activities.
  • Support product launches, promo campaigns, announcements.
  • Drive traffic to new offers, landing pages and integrations.

6. Analytics & Reporting

  • Track weekly KPIs: follower growth, engagement rate, community activity.
  • Provide monthly reports on insights, wins and improvements.
  • Suggest new formats based on data.

Requirements

Must-Have

  • 2+ years of experience in SMM or community management (Fintech/Trading/Startups — a plus).
  • Strong English communication skills (written + spoken).
  • Understanding of trading, forex, crypto or prop firms.
  • Ability to work fast, think creatively and adapt to trends.
  • Experience with Canva, CapCut, Slack, analytics tools.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience managing Discord/Telegram communities.
  • Content creation skills (reels, video editing, meme creation).
  • Experience working with influencers or affiliate marketing teams.
  • Basic knowledge of trading terminology (drawdown, leverage, entries, payouts, etc.).
