Middle/Senior Data Engineer

To thrive in this role, we’re seeking candidates with a minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, coupled with a strong background with Azure and MS SQL spanning at least 3+ years. Your proficiency in migrating on-premises databases to the cloud will be highly advantageous in this role.

The system’s Activity Streams and Leaderboard allow users to see how they compare alongside others in the organization, which helps businesses create a culture of recognition where individuals feel more connected to the company and their coworkers through Manager Discretionary, Peer-to-Peer, Service Anniversary & Milestones, and Sales Incentive Programs

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, working with MS SQL and Azure Data services.
• Proficiency with SSDT and DACPAC deployment.
• Writing business logic for fast work.
• Good written and spoken English.

Will be a plus:

• Working with Analytical Projects (DWH, ETL (SSIS, Azure Data Factory).
• Experience with MySQL.
• Experience with any data visualization tool (SSRS, Power BI).
• DBA experience (indexing, backup, restore etc.).
• Experience with PowerShell.
• Follow DataOps philosophy (experience with TeamCity and Octopus is a plus).

Responsibilities:

• Assist in migrating all legacy on-premises databases to the cloud.
• DB development and DBA support (rarely).
• SSIS, SSRS development.
• Collaborate closely with NetOps and DataOps team members.
• Work with legacy SQL Server databases and Azure SQL database offerings, such as Azure SQL and SQL Managed Instance.
• Write scripts to automate database synchronizations, including data and schema changes.
• Identify and address key areas for performance and security improvements.
