Senior Accountant

We’re helping our international partner expand their accounting team to support Ukrainian business clients.

 

This is not a junior or “primary documents only” role.

 

We’re looking for a professional who is confident running a full accounting cycle, handles taxes, VAT, FX operations, and works comfortably in an outsourcing environment with multiple clients.

 

This role is for you if:

 

  • You have 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
  • You’ve worked in outsourcing or consulting (or with several legal entities in parallel).
  • You are confident navigating Ukrainian accounting and tax legislation.
  • You can manage the full cycle from primary documents to financial reporting.
  • You communicate confidently in English (Upper-Intermediate / B2+).

 

Your responsibility areas

You’ll provide end-to-end accounting support for Ukrainian clients within an international group structure:
 

Accounting:

  • Fixed assets: acquisition, capitalization, modernization, depreciation, disposal, sales.
  • Inventory & stock accounting.
  • Cash flow: banking operations, cash, credits, deposits.
  • Production accounting and cost calculation.
  • Settlements & reconciliations.
  • Revenue & expense tracking.
  • Sales and services accounting.

 

Taxes & reporting:

  • Payroll accounting and personal income taxes.
  • VAT: tax credit & liabilities, invoice registration, VAT declarations.
  • Corporate income tax and tax differences.
  • Foreign currency operations and cross-border trade.
  • Monthly / quarterly / annual closings.
  • Preparation of financial statements and management analytics.

 

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Background in outsourcing or consulting — strong advantage.
  • Deep knowledge of Ukrainian accounting and tax regulations.
  • Ability to independently manage full accounting cycles.
  • English — Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher.
