Project Manager (E-commerce)

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team and help coordinate development of our web applications, Shopify stores, and Shopify App solutions. If you enjoy organizing processes, communicating with clients, and ensuring that development runs smoothly and on schedule - we’d be happy to talk.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead e-commerce projects (Shopify stores, Shopify Apps, custom web features).
• Communicate with clients, gather requirements, clarify priorities, and translate them into actionable tasks for developers.
• Create and maintain project documentation: requirements, specifications, feature descriptions, roadmaps, timelines.
• Plan sprints, manage backlog, track progress, and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate work between developers, QA, designers, and external partners.
• Review deliverables before sending to the client (basic pre-QA, UI/UX consistency checks).
• Ensure smooth release processes: preparing checklists, verifying scope, coordinating QA and dev teams.
• Identify risks, blockers, and timeline issues — and proactively resolve them.
• Support clients after releases: monitor feedback, coordinate fixes, and plan improvements.
• Improve internal project workflows to maintain quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager in IT or E-commerce.
• Experience managing Shopify or other E-commerce projects (Shopify is a big plus).
• Strong understanding of web application development processes (frontend, backend, APIs).
• Ability to write clear specifications, user stories, and task breakdowns.
• Excellent communication skills — ability to translate technical info into client-friendly language and vice versa.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Experience working with Jira / Trello / Asana or similar tools.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and turn them into actionable tasks for technical teams.
• Understanding of QA processes (not performing QA, but knowing how to plan and coordinate it).

• Upper-Intermediate English or higher

   

   

  Nice to Have

• Experience with Shopify Apps, Liquid, or E-commerce architecture.
• Basic understanding of API flows, webhooks, or integrations.
• Ability to perform quick sanity checks or acceptance testing.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum processes.
• Experience working with remote or distributed teams.
