Our client is an innovative manufacturer of medical devices in the United States that produces devices and software applications.
You will develop core functionality for a BLE-based Android gateway app used in a wearable cardiac monitoring system. The role includes implementing secure BLE communication, background data flows, and MDM-aware logic, ensuring the app runs reliably under enterprise restrictions.

Job Description

• 4+ years of hands-on Android development experience
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin
• Practical experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
• Strong communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Excellent analytical thinking and a structured, solution-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in English with the ability to communicate directly with clients

Nice-to-Have

• Secure data handling and encryption basics
• MDM/enterprise device profiles
• Embedded/FOTA/firmware interaction
• Strong debugging and log analysis skills
• Familiarity with medical or IoT systems
   

Job Responsibilities

• Develop BLE scanning, connection, and data exchange flows
• Implement encrypted dataset handling and command routing
• Build background processing flows with robust reconnection logic
• Implement UI for device state, connection flow, and minimal patient interaction
• Work within MDM/Device Owner restrictions
• Assist in system-level debugging (patch ↔ app ↔ backend)
• Maintain code quality, stability, and performance
