Traditionally, private funds and other alternative assets have been available only to institutional players due to their complexity and regulatory barriers. They change that by providing a cutting-edge platform that simplifies access, management, and distribution of these investment opportunities.

Role Overview

We’re on the lookout for a Ruby on Rails Engineer to help shape the future of alternative investing. You’ll be part of a team making it easier for wealth advisors and high-net-worth clients to access alternative assets, and for fund managers to connect with fresh capital opportunities.

Role Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs
• Participate in defining system architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Design RESTful APIs, and where applicable, GraphQL endpoints for frontend and mobile clients.
• Implement data migrations, indexing, caching (Redis/Memcached), and background job processing (Sidekiq/Resque).
• Maintain high standards of test coverage using RSpec, Minitest, or Capybara.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on complex features and technical challenges.

Role Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on Ruby on Rails experience in production environments.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• PostgreSQL (strong SQL optimization skills)
• Experience deploying to AWS (ECS/EC2/Elastic Beanstalk), Heroku, or GCP.
• Strong communication skills: English B2+
