Junior Backend / Full-stack Engineer (No Experience, First Job)
Important: this role is only for university students.
We are looking for students from math/CS faculties with no full-time work experience, but with strong math skills and experience in math/algorithmic competitions (olympiads, ICPC, etc.).
About the Project
We are building a system to analyze the crypto market and find trading opportunities. We work with different blockchains and centralized exchanges. We already run successful HFT and MEV strategies and want to build many new ones.
The system needs very fast data processing and service-based architecture.
Who We Are Looking For
- You are a current university student (Bachelor or Master), preferably:
- Mathematics / Applied Mathematics
- Computer Science / Software Engineering
- Related technical field
- You do not have full-time work experience as a developer.
- You have strong math/algorithmic background:
- Math / informatics olympiads
- ICPC / Proggy-Buggy / other contests
- Strong course work in algorithms, probability, statistics, etc.
- You really like:
- Solving hard problems
- Thinking about algorithms
- Optimizing and analysing data
If you already work full-time as a software engineer, this role is not for you.
Tech Stack (What You Should Know at Basic Level)
- Linux

Nice to have (but not required):
- Web3 or blockchain basics
- CEX/DEX APIs
- Microservices, queues (RabbitMQ)
- Any backend language: C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go, Rust, C++ (we don’t hire by language).

What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain services for high-speed data processing.
- Integrate with blockchain nodes and crypto exchange APIs.
- Improve reliability, performance, and monitoring of components.
- Propose and test ideas for new trading strategies together with the team.
