WordPress & Shopify Developer (offline)

Qualifications/Requirements
— 2+ years of experience with front-end web development (HTML/CSS)
— 1+ years of experience with Wordpress
— 3+ years of experience with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify and/or BigCommerce
— 3+ years of object-oriented programming and design (JavaScript, Python, PHP, Ruby, etc.)
— Established Shopify development experience, including building custom themes and features from scratch as well as modifications to existing elements
— Deep understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions
— Strong experience
o with Liquid template
o in integrating Shopify with ERP, CRM and more
o of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
o of server-side Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) pre-processing platforms
o of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery

Experience:
o integrating APIs and cloud deployment
o with mobile development and/or mobile-first responsive design
o with debugging and maintaining production level code
o with architectural patterns of large, high-scale web or mobile applications
o knowledge Ruby is a plus
— Familiarity with Automated build tools, Code Management and Continuous
Integration preferred
— Basic knowledge of image authoring tools.
— Expert working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
— Good understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
— Excellent communication and time management skills
— Creative, curious, and eager to join a small, all hands-on deck team

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
— Building out and integrating Shopify Plus platform for our products
— Ability to add custom functionality/features leveraging the Shopify platform/CMS
— Experience building and integrating API’s and working with Shopify’s APIs
— Trouble shoot all bug fixes for Progressive Automations sites
— A detailed eye to create and implement UX/UI with best practices
— Produce responsive and cross browser/platform features
— Actively find ways (new technologies, tools) to improve existing solutions
— Build reusable components and scalable global architecture
— Coordinate development efforts with internal teams and external teams
