DevOps Engineer (offline)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Maintain and develop system for provisioning and configuring virtual infrastructure in AWS, VMWare and other similar environments.

· Design, build and support scalable platforms to efficiently support eCORE application components.

· Design and build tools for monitoring, testing, and diagnosis of systems.

· Participate in an emergency on-call rotation.

· Participate in collaborative troubleshooting processes.

· Adhere to company and industry best practice standards.

· Create positive and productive relationships with customers and colleagues.

· Maintain good documentation and actively share knowledge with colleagues.


Essential Skills

· 4+ years of Linux Systems Administration in a complex, rapidly changing environment.

· 3+ years of experience working with configuration automation tools

· 2+ years of experience working with Amazon Web Service

· Strong written and verbal English language skills

· Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks.

· Excellent problem-solving skills

· Ability to quickly learn and use new technologies

· Good documentation, diagramming, and knowledge sharing skills.

Desirable Skills

· Atlassian tools including Jira, Confluence, Bambo, & BitBucket

· Elastic Search systems including Elastic Search, Kibana, & LogStash

· MySQL & MSSQL

· Puppet

· PHP, Python, AWS SDKs

· Microsoft Azure

· Cassandra, Postfix
