Legal Manager

Main responsibilities:

  • draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts with a focus on service agreements, share purchase agreements (including other related corporate documents), license agreements, NDAs etc;
  • conduct comprehensive legal research on various issues related to the company’s operations, including regulatory changes and industry-specific laws, provide practical recommendations thereto;
  • advise on intellectual property matters including trademark registration and enforcement, assist with licensing applications and regulatory fillings;
  • assist in ensuring the company’s compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including corporate governance, labor laws, intellectual property, and environmental laws;
  • provide legal advice and guidance to internal departments on a variety of matters, such as corporate governance, labor disputes, commercial transactions, and intellectual property;
  • prepare and maintain legal documents, including case files, contracts, reports, and corporate records. Ensure that all filings are made in compliance with deadlines and legal requirements;
  • assist in dispute resolution processes, including mediation, arbitration, or settlement discussions;
  • liase with external counsels and regulatory bodies on the relevant matters;
  • work closely with the business, finance, HR, and other departments to identify and mitigate legal risks and ensure smooth business operations.
Qualifications:
  • master's degree in law;
  • 2+ years of proven experience working in a corporate law firm or similar role;
  • solid knowledge of contract law, corporate law, intellectual property;
  • excellent drafting, analytical, legal research skills, ability to analyze complex legal issues;
  • strong attention to details and ability to manage multiple projects;
  • previous experience in licensing processes (e.g. gaming, financial or tech sectors);
  • familiarity with international legal frameworks;
  • excellent written and spoken English, communication skills, with the ability to explain legal matters in a clear and concise manner;
  • attention to details and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively;
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
