DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS to join a newly established DevOps team. This role will involve building the infrastructure from the ground up. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and enhancing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and operational tools. Collaboration across teams will be essential to ensure our services are secure, scalable, and reliable.

Our customer is a famous cloud computing provider that serves leading global software and cybersecurity companies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Adopt and maintain IaC methodologies.
• Develop, maintain, and automate CI/CD pipelines, encompassing build, testing, and deployment processes across multiple environments.
• Establish and monitor monitoring and alerting systems.
• Enhance system reliability, availability, performance, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Apply AWS security best practices for identity management, access control, networking, and data protection.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless deployment processes.

Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in a DevOps role.
• Extensive practical experience with AWS services.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, preferably Terraform.
• Experience working with containers and orchestration platforms, preferably Amazon EKS.
• Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD workflows and GitOps practices, with ArgoCD preferred.
• Strong understanding of Linux environments and scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of networking principles, including DNS, TCP/IP, routing, and VPNs.
