Senior Automation Test Engineer (offline)

Project Description:

Integrated Distribution Management System (IDMS ) is a collection of applications designed to monitor & control the entire distribution network efficiently and reliably. It combines Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software, Distribution Management System (DMS), Outage Management System, Switching Orders, Crew Management etc.
Responsibilities:
Produce defect metrics and dashboards on the full QA process;
Evaluation and introduction of QA tools and techniques;
Test new features on different test levels (integration, system, functional, regression, exploratory testing);
Understand business requirements and develop test scenarios/cases;
Plan and perform automated tests.

Mandatory Skills:

At least 3+ years of experience in testing.
At least 2+ years of experience in automation testing.
Experience in writing Java code or C#, Rest Api automation,
Experience working with Test framework like JUnit/TestNG/Nunit
Proven experience working within Client/server architecture
XML, Xpath, DOM model understanding.
Understanding of QA processes, approaches, methodologies and software development lifecycle, and ability to apply the knowledge into daily operation.
Experience with Jenkins to integrate automated testing (or other CI tool)
Test Development OOP concepts

Nice-to-Have Skills:

JavaScript/Python
ISTQB certification
SoapUI tool
