Senior Audio/Video Editor

Project: Invisible Machines Podcast

We’re looking for a fast, detail-oriented Audio/Video Editor with a great ear for dialogue, rhythm, and story. You’ll edit full podcast episodes and create compelling short clips for social platforms.

The ideal candidate is skilled in sound engineering, dialogue clean-up, and pacing, with strong taste and timing. You should be comfortable using AI-powered tools (like Riverside’s editor) to accelerate workflow, but equally confident jumping into Pro Tools, Premiere Pro, or After Effects when needed.

We care about results, not tools — we want someone scrappy, fast, and quality-obsessed, who takes direction well but also brings creative opinions to the table.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit long-form podcast episodes with attention to pacing, clarity, and narrative flow.
• Create short, high-quality clips optimized for social media (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
• Clean and balance dialogue, music, and sound effects.
• Use AI-powered tools (e.g. Riverside) to speed up workflow.
• Work confidently with Pro Tools, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar software.
• Collaborate with an international creative team (primarily USA-based).

• Bring creative ideas, take feedback well, and maintain a high standard of quality.

   

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in audio/video editing.
• Strong sense of timing, rhythm, and storytelling.
• Solid understanding of sound engineering and dialogue clean-up.
• Proficiency with Pro Tools, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
• Experience working in an international environment (preferably with US-based teams).
• Comfortable using AI-assisted editing tools.
• English: Upper-Intermediate or higher — you’ll work with English-speaking content daily.
• Organized, fast, and detail-oriented, with a creative mindset.
