This role requires relocation after the probation period.

Requirements: 

— Master’s degree or PhD in finance, mathematics, quantitative economics, statistics, or Data Science
— 5+ years of professional experience in risk modelling within financial institutions, preferably investment banks, hedge funds, or crypto exchanges
— Demonstrated expertise in developing and validating risk models covering liquidity, credit, and market risks
— Strong knowledge of probability theory, econometrics, time series modelling, stress testing, and scenario analysis
— Proficiency in Python / R, SQL, with substantial experience handling large datasets and structured model development processes
— Solid understanding of cryptocurrencies, derivatives, structured products, and liquidity mechanisms
— Experience in preparing model documentation and presenting results to internal governance bodies or risk committees

Responsibilities:

— Lead the design, development, calibration, and validation of advanced risk models across liquidity, credit, and market risk domains
— Ensure compliance of all models with internal risk management standards and established governance frameworks
— Conduct regular stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate the resilience of models under adverse conditions
— Oversee the integration of risk models into existing risk management systems and decision-making processes
— Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of models, methodologies, and assumptions
— Present modelling results and risk assessments to internal stakeholders and governance committees
— Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior and mid-level risk modellers within the team
