About Workspark:

Workspark embeds senior international talent into US companies. For this role you are the AI video lead for a Los Angeles performance media agency producing high converting TV and digital ads.

About the role:
 

You take scripts, storyboards, and references and turn them into finished performance ads using AI video tools plus traditional VFX. You design the pipeline, keep characters and style consistent across many shots, and fix what AI breaks. You are responsible for making the work look like a real commercial, not an AI demo.

Key responsibilities:

• Translate creative direction and references into clear AI video plans
• Design and run the workflow from look tests to final delivery
• Keep characters and style consistent across 10 to 30 shots
• Combine AI generated footage with strong compositing and cleanup
• Solve artifacts, realism, and continuity problems without hand holding
• Work directly with a US creative team in English in calls and chat
• Prepare versions and cutdowns for different channels when needed

Core tools and stack:

You should already use most of these in real client projects.
• Runway Gen 3 or similar AI video tools
• Stable Diffusion with ComfyUI or another node based system
• Training or fine tuning models such as LoRA for character and style
• After Effects and or Nuke or Fusion for compositing and cleanup
• Premiere or similar for final edit and conform
• Python or other scripting for automation is a plus

Required experience:

• Able to work with strong overlap to Pacific Time. Typical hours 9:00am to 17:30pm US PST
• At least four years in VFX motion design or similar production work
• At least one year of paid client work using AI video tools not just experiments
• Portfolio with several finished photoreal or near photoreal spots showing character consistency
• Strong eye for lighting realism and continuity
• Confident spoken and written English able to discuss and defend decisions with US creatives

Nice to have:

• Experience on commercials for international brands
• Agency or production company background
• Familiarity with sound design workflows enough to collaborate with audio teams
