Senior Manual/Automation QA Engineer (offline)

Project Description:
Project goal is developing Kubernetes based platform used by multiple Customer's products. The platform provides capabilities for fast and reliable data storage, authentication, authorization and session management, security support, notification of thousands of clients, monitoring and cluster analyzing. Main focus areas are Integration with other in house applications, deployment (Database Schema, Software update, Containerization on Windows), cyber security (authentication, authorization and session management, API Gateway based on Openresty).

Responsibilities:
• Participate in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines
• Able to work independently with minimal direction is a must
• Communication with customer representatives
• Support and enhance the test framework for API testing (Java/Groovy)
• Support Jenkins pipelines, test environments, deployments
• Analyze requirements, design test cases and implement test scripts (Java/Groovy)
• Investigate platform issues, create bug reports
• Build different test scenarios and acceptance tests
• Perform automated and manual (20%) functional integration and performance testing

Mandatory Skills:
• Strong knowledge of HTTP, SOAP, REST, SQL
• Senior level of knowledge of one of the script or programming language (Java/Groovy is better)
• Unit test framework knowledge
• At least middle level of knowledge Linux shell - bash (sh, csh, zsh)
• Experience in test framework setting up, usage (writing)
• Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (or Docker Swarm or Open Shift)
• Experience with any version control system, bug report system, IDE,
• Spoken and written English: upper-intermediate or above (both spoken and written)
• Understanding of testing methodologies and techniques

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Spring framework and Spring Boot knowledge, JMS
• NoSQL DB, Kibana, Grafana
• AWS experience (terraform)
• Jenkins pipeline
• Security testing experience
