DevOps Engineer

🔥 For our US-based client, an innovative product company, we’re looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join the core R&D team. In this role, you’ll drive automation across build and test processes and ensure the stability, performance, and growth of the cloud-native production infrastructure. If you are passionate about AWS, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-code, and enjoy working closely with product teams, this role is for you!
 

Responsibilities:
- Work as an active member of the R&D team, collaborating closely with developers, QA, and product teams;
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions;
- Research, propose, and implement best practice infrastructure solutions to improve scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency;
- Maintain, optimize, and extend CI/CD pipelines;
- Deploy, upgrade, and monitor multiple production environments in AWS;
- Troubleshoot production issues (Tier 3 & Tier 4 support);
- Implement and continuously improve security controls across infrastructure and deployments;
- Perform routine security improvements;
- Work with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and observability.
 

Technological stack:
- AWS (CloudFormation, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, S3, EC2, ECS, RDS, etc.);
- Linux, MySQL, NoSQL databases;
- Terraform, Python, Bash;
- CI/CD solutions (Jenkins, CloudFormation, Git, etc.);
- Datadog, CloudWatch, Logz.io, Grafana (and similar tools);
- Cloud networking concepts, security groups, IAM, VPC, and related services.
 

Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer – must;
- 3+ years of experience in a hi-tech company – must;
- Hands-on experience with AWS-based infrastructure and Terraform – must;
- Strong background in Linux system administration – must;
- Solid scripting skills (e.g. Bash, Python);
- Good understanding of network protocols (HTTP/S, TCP/IP, DNS, etc.);
- Experience with CI/CD solutions (Jenkins, Git-based workflows, pipelines);
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal);
- AWS Certification (Associate level) – must;

Nice to have:
- AWS Certification (Professional level);
- Experience with web-products such as WordPress or Magento;
- Experience building and maintaining highly available, distributed systems.
