Senior PHP Developer (IRC280782)

Job Description

• At least 4 years of commercial experience as PHP;
• Strong knowledge of application design principles using vanilla PHP;
• Good knowledge of application design principles using Node.js;
• Strong knowledge of RDS/MySQL, Memcached, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery;
• Hands-on experience with GenAI tools and frameworks (Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.);
• Understanding of GenAI adoption practices — how to integrate and leverage generative AI capabilities within existing systems and development workflows;
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Docker and Composer;
• Good understanding or experience with Agile practices;
• Good knowledge or experience with AWS and K8S would be a big plus;
• Knowledge of JavaScript and Nodejs, experience with push notifications services or payment systems would be a big plus;
• Strong communication skills and proactiveness for effective daily cooperation.

GlobalLogic team has been involved for many years into development, deployment and support of many different areas of the solution. We are now looking for a talented PHP Engineer who will extend our growing team and work with us on enlarging the capabilities of our system.

Part of your responsibilities will include

• Work as a part of existing R&D team based on the backlog in Agile/Scrum manner;
• Design and implementation of new functionality, supporting existing, writing reusable, testable, and efficient code. Coordinate with co-developers, product owners and send regular updates;
• Identify key barriers/core problems and apply problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations, troubleshoote and resolve problems. Help us to move the system to the next-gen level by proposing and using the newest approaches and practices in architecture;
• Extend capabilities and functionalities of existing platform, improve its robuteness and performance, including a close work with improving existing AWS cloud based application architecure, CD/CD etc;

Our range of products include game analysis, game exchange, and video replay. We support all major team sports and caters to every level from youth, high school, college, through professional.
