Senior/Lead Python Developer (offline)

Required skills
● 4+ years of production experience
● Strong experience with Python
● Good working knowledge of at least one database
● Understanding of REST APIs
● ELK knowledge
● Excellent communication skills, ability to voice matters and concerns
● Upper Intermediate English or higher

As a plus
● Open to learn and work with Rust
● Experience with Flask or Django
● Strong experience with setting up and working with ELK or similar solutions
● DevOps experience

Responsibilities
Build a back-end application that consists of data intake, storage and an HTTP API.
Suggested tools: Python, Travis, Github, Postgres/MongoDB/ELK, Ansible,
Docker. Back-end application to be hosted on CentOS 7. AWS used during development.

● Intake and storage of data collected by network monitoring software
● HTTP API: build an API to support the SPA written in React
● Authentication and user management, API keys
● Design and implement database layer with high data intake throughput
● Query large datasets for analytical insights into network performance and security
● Communicate with AE team and technical product owner on a regular basis, helping align team effort and client business goals
● Document technical choices and solutions, document deliverables
● Build and deploy scripts to CentOS hosted on EC2 instances
