Your Role

We require a skilled IT professional who can manage user accounts across our enterprise systems while driving automation and maintaining high security standards.
This role combines hands-on technical support, identity and access management, and forward-thinking automation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding processes, maintain security compliance, manage IT assets, and leverage AI/automation to improve operational efficiency across our growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Account Creation & Identity Management (40%)

  • Provision and manage user accounts across enterprise platforms including:
    • LDAP/Active Directory for directory services
    • VPN solutions for secure remote access
    • Google Workspace
    • Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
    • Keycloak for identity and access management
    • Additional business applications as required
  • Execute onboarding workflows for new employees, ensuring all accounts, permissions, and access rights are configured correctly on day one
  • Manage offboarding processes including account deactivation, access revocation, and data transfer/archival
  • Maintain role-based access control (RBAC) matrices and ensure principle of least privilege across all systems
  • Conduct regular access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with security policies
  • Document account management procedures and maintain up-to-date knowledge base articles

2. End User Support (30%)

  • Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support for all corporate IT systems and applications
  • Troubleshoot authentication and access issues across SSO, LDAP, VPN, and other identity systems
  • Respond to support tickets via helpdesk system with target SLA compliance
  • Assist users with password resets, account lockouts, MFA configuration, and permission requests
  • Create and maintain user documentation, FAQs, and self-service resources
  • Conduct user training sessions for new tools and security best practices

3. Automation & AI Integration (20%)

  • Design and implement automation workflows for account provisioning and deprovisioning processes
  • Leverage AI and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency
  • Integrate systems using APIs to create seamless account creation workflows across multiple platforms

4. IT Asset Management (10%)

  • Maintain comprehensive inventory of all IT hardware (laptops, monitors, peripherals, mobile devices)
  • Manage software license tracking and ensure compliance with vendor agreements
  • Coordinate laptop procurement, configuration, and deployment for new hires

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
    OR equivalent practical experience (3–5 years in IT support/administration roles)

Technical Skills

Core Systems

  • LDAP/Active Directory: User and group management, OU structure, Group Policy
  • Google Workspace: Admin console, user provisioning, security settings, API integration
  • Atlassian Suite: Jira and Confluence administration, user/group management, permissions
  • VPN Technologies: Configuration and troubleshooting (OpenVPN, WireGuard, or enterprise VPN)
  • Keycloak or similar IAM: Identity federation, SSO, SAML, OAuth 2.0
  • Linux/Windows administration: Command line proficiency, system troubleshooting

Automation & Development

  • Scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation
  • API integration: REST APIs, authentication methods, basic development skills
  • CI/CD concepts: Understanding of automation pipelines and DevOps practices
  • AI/ML tools: Familiarity with AI-powered automation platforms

Security & Compliance

  • Understanding of security best practices for identity management
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS basics)
  • Experience with MFA implementation and password policies

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Customer service orientation: Patient, empathetic, and solution-focused approach
  • Problem-solving ability: Analytical thinking and troubleshooting methodology
