Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)

Role purpose

We are looking for a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) who will build an integrated commercial system β€” uniting sales, marketing, and client success into a single strategic growth engine.


Our team has strong expertise in custom software development and product solutions, but we are now entering a new stage β€” active scaling, new markets, and commercial expansion. We need a leader who can systematically turn the team’s potential into consistent client base growth and profitability.


What we expect from the CCO

First 2–3 months: onboarding, audit of current commercial activities, participation in key processes and client calls.


After 3 months

  • a unified 6-month commercial strategy (Sales + Marketing + Account) is in place;
  • a clear vision for consistent quarterly client acquisition is defined;
  • business models for improving profitability across different directions are developed.


Key challenges for this role

  • managing diverse business directions that require different sales approaches;
  • building a strong sales mindset across the company and breaking outdated approaches to commercial activities;
  • establishing a systematic pipeline for acquiring new clients and partners.


After a year, we’ll know the CCO had a strong impact if:

  • we have new clients and partners across various business areas;
  • new sales have grown by a specific measurable percentage;
  • sales and upsells have become predictable and systematic;
  • there is a clear commercial vision and strategy for 2027.


Who we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in sales leadership, business development, or commercial management (in IT or related industries).
  • Strong leadership qualities and ownership mindset β€” ability to take full responsibility for new initiatives and make bold decisions (including the ability to say β€œno”).
  • Ability to combine strategic vision with a hands-on approach.
  • Experience in building or scaling commercial teams.
  • Strong analytical and results-oriented mindset, ability to work with metrics.
  • Experience in entering international markets will be a strong advantage.
  • Languages: Ukrainian β€” fluent, English β€” fluent.
