About the Role
OWN Health is building the AI-powered future of personal prevention. We unify medical, lifestyle, and wearable data into a single “health account,” helping people see risks before they arise and take control of their wellbeing.
We’re seeking a Marketing Director who can bridge storytelling, analytics, and growth — turning a preventive health mission into a movement.

Key Responsibilities

🧭 Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Define OWN’s brand narrative“Your data, your health, your prevention.”
  • Position OWN between medical credibility and lifestyle inspiration — where prevention feels aspirational, not clinical.
  • Shape a unified messaging architecture across web, app, and social, highlighting OWN’s unique value: predictive, data-driven, and privacy-first.

 

📊 Growth & Go-to-Market

  • Lead the go-to-market strategy for our next product iteration (November redesign → early 2026 public release).
  • Build and optimize multi-channel acquisition funnels (content, influencer partnerships, paid social, and Apple Health integrations).
  • Develop product-led growth loops — onboarding journeys, email/push automations, and gamified retention features tied to users’ health improvements.
  • Track activation, retention, and referral metrics to continuously refine messaging and user experience.

 

💬 Community & Thought Leadership

  • Create the OWN Health Founding Member Program and early adopter community.
  • Collaborate with medical advisors and creators to launch educational campaigns around prevention and self-tracking.
  • Drive storytelling across channels (press, social, product updates) to humanize complex AI health concepts.

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in growth, brand, or product marketing, ideally in digital health, fitness, or consumer SaaS.
  • Proven experience launching or scaling early-stage tech products from MVP to market traction.
  • Strong understanding of healthtech positioning, user psychology, and trust building (especially for sensitive data products).
  • Analytical and creative mindset — fluent in both storytelling and metrics (CAC, LTV, retention).
  • Passion for preventive health, data-driven wellness, and AI-enabled personalization.
