QA Automation Engineer

US-based product company creating innovative solutions in IoT, AI, SaaS, and Automation.  We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our products.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with developers, PMs, and product teams to define test plans and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, report, and track defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to QA best practices.
• Ensure high-quality releases by implementing automation frameworks and CI/CD testing pipelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automation testing for web and/or mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Appium or similar frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools, frameworks, and scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, or Java).
• Experience with API testing (REST/GraphQL) and using tools like Postman.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in IoT or SaaS projects.
• Knowledge of performance and load testing.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
