Senior C++ Developer (offline)

Project Description:

About the Project: Development, modification and support of the software for Flow Based capacity calculations. The software is operational in the coupled energy market of CWE region, and there's a plan to developm and deploy it for new region (Scandinavia).

Our team: Distributed international team is working on the project. You will be part of Kyiv team (3 Snr developers) that will be working on implementation of flow-based calculations for energy market management system. TL/PO from client's side is located in France.
Responsibilities:

Implementation of new features and bug fixing in the software for electrical network calculations and transfer capacity calculations with use of the modern Flow Based methodology.

The main challenges: computations are be performed on periodical basis and solve optimization problems (linear programming) with big arrays of input/output data; the software is developed as platform-independent, however the main target platform is Red Hat Enterprise Linux (CentOS-based Docker containers).
Mandatory Skills:

- Required strong C++ programming skills
- Good understanding of standard data sharing tools XML, RDFS...
Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Highly desired programming skills on Python, Java
- Proven experience in working on continuous integration and development environment (Automated testing development, Agile, Github ...);
- Experience or knowledge in optimization algorithm as a desired plus.
