Senior MuleSoft Integration Engineer

The Client is a non-asset U.S. based global logistics provider that specializes in domestic transportation management, international freight forwarding and retail consolidation solutions.
Requirements:
- Time zone – 14:00 - 23:00 (Kyiv time).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5+ years of integration development experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on MuleSoft development and deployment (preferably on CloudHub).
- Strong experience designing, building, and operating APIs (REST/SOAP) and microservices on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Proficiency with DataWeave transformations, error handling, orchestration, and MuleSoft connectors.
- Hands-on experience with API design (RAML, OpenAPI), API-led connectivity patterns, and full API lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Git, and containerization/cloud deployment.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns (EIP) and messaging fundamentals (queues/streams).
- Experience securing APIs and integrations (OAuth, JWT, SAML, etc.) and applying observability best practices (logging/monitoring).
- Experience integrating enterprise systems such as ERP, TMS, or WMS is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with proven ability to work in Agile teams.
- MuleSoft certifications and logistics/supply chain domain knowledge are a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into integration solutions.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of APIs and integration flows.
- Develop and maintain reusable assets, frameworks, and best practices for MuleSoft projects.
- Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring for integration flows.
- Work closely with DevOps to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring of MuleSoft applications.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing MuleSoft applications and APIs.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document integration designs, processes, and configurations for future reference.
- Stay up to date with MuleSoft capabilities, integration trends, and cloud technologies.
