Senior DevOps Engineer / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join the founding engineering team of a fast-growing AI platform revolutionizing how enterprises manage cloud infrastructure costs. The company is a VC-backed seed-stage startup founded by former experts from Google, Deloitte, and DeepMind.

You’ll be joining as one of the first engineers, shaping both the product and the technical foundation of a platform that processes billions in cloud spend data for global clients.

 What You’ll Do

• Design and build scalable data pipelines for AWS and Azure billing/usage data
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
• Build integration layers with AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, and related APIs
• Optimize infrastructure across multiple regions and accounts
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and ensure system reliability, performance, and security
• Collaborate with the AI team to integrate ML models into the infrastructure

• Work with early customers to shape the product and define best practices

   

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure
• Strong programming skills in Python or Go
• Experience with Terraform and modern IaC tools
• Deep understanding of cloud cost optimization and billing APIs
• Knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures

• Solid understanding of system reliability, performance, and scalability

   

Nice to have:

• Multi-cloud experience (AWS + Azure)
• FinOps or cloud cost optimization background
• Experience with Airflow, Spark, or streaming systems
• Prior startup experience

• AWS / Azure certifications
