Solutions Architect (AWS), EMEA Healthcare Business Unit (IRC278904)

Join GlobalLogic’s Architects Team within the Healthcare Business Unit, supporting clients across the EMEA region. This strategic role is focused on engaging new clients, shaping impactful technical solutions, and launching innovative DevOps-driven projects in the healthcare space. You will play a key part in growing our business by translating client challenges into actionable architectures, leading discovery and solutioning efforts, and ensuring successful project kickoffs. Mandatory:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Sciences
  • At least 10 years of experience in commercial SW development with at 3+ years in SW Architect role
  • Strong experience working with popular cloud platforms (AWS must have).
  • Strong experience working with at least one of the main enterprise technology stacks (.NET, Java, etc.)
  • Technical subject matter expertise in the following (one or more):
    - medical device QMS
    - digital patient engagement & experience
    - clinical & operational analytics
    - clinical trials software
    - healthcare data interoperability
    - remote/continuous patient monitoring with internet of medical things.
  • Experience with technical advisories and application modernization
  • Experience building systems with mobile elements
  • Practical experience working with test automation teams
  • Experience building regulated medical software (Class B or higher)
  • Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architectures, designs, migrations and technology management.
  • Experience with design and implementation of cloud-agnostic solutions for Healthcare domain
  • Knowledge of Data Solutions Architecture - data pipelines, ETL processes, data storage and governance, etc.
  • Strong architecture diagramming and documentation skills
  • Strong communication - verbal and written (at least Upper-Intermediate English)
  • Ability to define and propose solution architecture, make technology decisions, estimate the cost, and justify it
  • Ability to analyze, discuss and propose system requirements on both product and functional level
  • Good presentation skills and ability to communicate across both business and technology


Would be a plus:

  • Understanding of and technical experience with typical enterprise healthcare architectures and ecosystems that include major technology platforms such as: EMR/Clinical Systems, telehealth systems, clinical data warehouses, connected medical devices, HIPAA/HITRUST Compliant
  • Application Infrastructure
  • Knowledge of applicable medical software standards and regulations (FDA guidelines)
  • Knowledge of embedded medical devices and respective embedded software
  • Experience of migrating on-prem solutions to cloud would be a plus
  • Knowledge of applicable Cybersecurity and Privacy standards and regulations (HIPAA, CPA, GDPR, etc.)
  • Experience in pre-sales
     

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand business needs, technical challenges, and goals within the healthcare domain.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define solution architecture that aligns with client expectations and industry best practices.
  • Design and present scalable, secure, and cost-effective architecture solutions, with a strong focus on cloud technologies, interoperability, and architecture practices.
  • Translate complex healthcare-related requirements into actionable technical solutions and high-level architecture designs.
  • Drive proposal development and pre-sales activities, including effort estimation, risk identification, and technical presentations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to execution, enabling successful project initiation and alignment with client objectives.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, providing insights into emerging technologies and solution options within the healthcare space.
  • Contribute to architectural governance and best practices, and support continuous improvement within the Architects Team.
  • Support business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities, developing proof of concepts, and contributing to strategic growth planning.
