Senior Data Engineer (Databricks)

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer in Portugal to join a long-term project with an immediate start. (but candidates from other EU countries are welcome to apply - as long as you have all the required skills)
 

About the project

You’ll be working on a large-scale data migration from Microsoft SQL Server to Databricks, focusing on data structure optimization, performance tuning, and implementing best practices in data engineering.

Requirements

• Databricks certification (mandatory)
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Spark
• Excellent SQL skills (Microsoft SQL Server)
• Proven experience in data migration and transformation
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Location: Portugal (to visit office 1 time per week) ot any other EU country in case you have all nesseccary skills.
