Shopify Developer to $3500

About Us

Shield is a fast growing eCommerce skincare brand looking for a skilled Shopify Plus developer to join our team. We're focused on building custom solutions that improve customer experience and drive conversion.

The Role

This is a full-time time role ($3,000 USD/month). You'll work directly with our CEO (who handles design and strategy) to build and maintain custom Shopify Plus features.

What You'll Build

Priority projects:

• Custom subscription cancel flow with Skio integration
• Analytics dashboard for tracking cancel flow performance
• Customer quiz functionality and redirect logic (Octane.ai integration)
• Custom upsell experiences throughout the customer journey
• A/B testing infrastructure for ongoing optimization

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Shopify Plus (API, Liquid, theme customization)
• Proficient in JavaScript for interactive features
• Comfortable with backend development (Node.js, Ruby, or PHP)
• Ability to build custom analytics dashboards and tracking
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Self-directed with ability to execute independently

Nice to Have

• Experience with Skio or other subscription platforms
• Familiarity with Octane.ai or similar quiz platforms
• Previous work on subscription cancel flows
• E-commerce conversion optimization experience

Work Details

• Fully remote
• Report directly to CEO
• Work independently on technical implementation
• Design and requirements provided - you focus on execution
• Ongoing maintenance and iteration expected
