Automation Software Test Engineer

Description

We’re looking for an experienced Embedded Software Tester to join our team. You’ll be responsible for validating embedded systems, with a strong focus on Python-based test automation. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the automotive industry and a deep understanding of its specific working environment and standards.

Requirements

Key Skills We’re Looking For:
Strong Python skills, especially with test frameworks like Pytest.
Experience with testing embedded systems running on QNX.
Prior experience in the automotive industry, with a good understanding of its development lifecycle and functional safety requirements.
Knowledge of UDS and DoIP protocols.
Foundational knowledge of Android.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication skills in English.

Bonus Points For:
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Gerrit).
Experience with ASPICE or ISO26262.

Job responsibilities

Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Pytest.
Execute a variety of software tests, including integration and system-level tests.
Perform fault tracing and detailed root cause analysis.
Collaborate closely with software developers and other testers to ensure product quality.
Report bugs and track their resolution using standard bug tracking tools.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and automation framework.
