UI/UX Designer (Technical Designer) — iGaming/Casino

About the role: We're looking for a talented UI/UX Designer with deep iGaming expertise to craft engaging, conversion-driven experiences for our casino platform and games. You'll own the full design process — from concept and design systems to pixel-perfect handoff and performance optimization. This is a fully remote position — work from anywhere in the world with flexible hours.
 

What you'll do:

Design System & Product Design:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system, UI kits, and BrandBook for the product
• Create user flows, wireframes, and responsive designs for web, mobile, and tablet platforms
• Build interactive prototypes in Figma and collaborate closely with product and development teams
• Prepare designs for developer handoff with proper documentation, components, and specifications
• Ensure brand consistency while adapting to different platforms and user contexts

Visual & Marketing Design:

• Create high-quality, performance-driven visuals for casino platforms
• Design promotional banners, campaign materials, tournament visuals, winner announcements, and seasonal promotions
• Develop eye-catching content that drives engagement, retention, and conversion across multiple channels
• Design in-game graphics, lobby elements, and gamification features
• Create assets for social media, email campaigns, and affiliate marketing

UX & Optimization:

• Apply principles of gamification, loyalty mechanics, and retention to enhance user engagement
• Conduct UX research, analyze player behavior, and implement A/B testing strategies
• Optimize user journeys with focus on conversion funnels and KPIs
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and responsible gaming guidelines
   

Requirements:

• 3+ years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer
• Mandatory experience in iGaming/casino industry (slots, live casino, sportsbook, or casino platforms)
• Strong portfolio showcasing casino/gambling projects
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, variants, prototyping)
• Solid background in graphic design: banners, icons, illustrations, typography, composition
• Deep understanding of modern design systems, UI libraries, and scalable design practices
• Expertise in wireframing, prototyping, and UX flows
• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and usability principles
• Knowledge of player psychology, engagement mechanics, and casino UX patterns
• Ability to balance creativity with data-driven, performance-focused design thinking
• High attention to detail, visual consistency, and pixel-perfect execution
• Experience managing tight deadlines and time-sensitive campaigns
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
   

Nice to have:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
• Understanding of HTML/CSS basics for better dev collaboration
• Experience with motion design and micro-interactions
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (MGA, UKGC, Curacao)
• Familiarity with analytics tools (Hotjar, Google Analytics, Amplitude)
• Experience with slot game UI design and game math basics (RTP, volatility)
• Understanding of casino marketing trends and player engagement strategies
