System analyst (offline)

The project's Vision is to become the definitive reference for accurate athlete data, historical results and biographies, acting as a trusted partner that shares sports data to improve exposure and engagement and offers an opportunity to digitise sports data-related processes across the entire Olympic Movement, local organising committees of single and multi-sports events, and the Media.
The main deliverable of the SDW is a centralised data warehouse of sports results and athlete biographical data formed from the aggregation of multiple existing databases that are held and maintained by each contributor to the project.
In parallel to developing the warehouse will be the development of applications that can leverage this central repository to supply various functions to various stakeholders. This can include:
Widgets to enhance an athlete's social profile
Registration tools for events
Data analysis and presentation of sports statistical information

Responsibilities:
- Design and development of unified sport data model;
- Expand and detail complex BR and describe detailed use-cases with the help of PO;
- Analyse and transform BRs into tasks for data analysts and developers;
- Help in designing of architectural docs: HLD, sequence diagram, component/class diagram, etc
- Verification of test strategy/plan for non-functional requirements;
- Verification of internal data end-to-end processing flow, participating in API specs designing;
- Drive system review sessions (requirements specifications, system designs);
- Evaluate Solution's functionality to identify gaps in data model integrity;
- Perform liaison between Data Analysis and Backend development groups;
- Analysis and agreement of the contracts between different system components;
- Confirm the complete understanding of the task and the availability of all necessary descriptions for its implementation from development side;
- Perform the decomposition of cross-functional tasks between teams;
- Help in the decomposition of tasks on internal boards;
- Review acceptance test specifications;
- Assist senior managers in identifying problems or opportunities that might be addressed to the software system;

Mandatory Skills:
- High education in computer science;
- 3+ years of experience in system and business analysis;
- Experience in composing of technical documentation (System requirements, API specifications, architectural documents, data mapping documents);
- Proven knowledge of UML, SOA, MSA;
- Familiar with SQL, XML, XPATH, JSON.
- Strong analytical and systems thinking skills;
- Strong Development or Architecture experience in developing enterprise level applications;
- Problem solving, attention to details and result-oriented abilities;
- Excellent communication, negotiation, meeting facilitation skills, resolving conflicts;
- Self-management skills, ability to handle multi-tasking activities simultaneously;
- High level of responsibility and ability to work under a tight schedule
- Working in Agile and Waterfall projects;
- Upper Intermediate English - direct customer conversations;
