DevOps Engineer Azure $$$$ Offline

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on DevOps Engineer to support the design, automation, and operation of CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and deployment processes within our OpenStack-based private cloud and on-premise environments.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and Linux systems administration. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure and application teams to ensure efficient, reliable, and secure delivery of services.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (Helm charts, basic CRD management, Rancher, kubectl).
• Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Jenkins (Groovy or declarative pipelines).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker).
• Working knowledge of Git-based workflows (BitBucket or GitLab).
• Practical experience with Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Scripting experience in Bash and/or Python.
• Good understanding of Linux systems administration (Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, routing).
• Basic understanding of Vault, Artifactory, or similar DevOps ecosystem tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Nice to Have

• Exposure to OpenStack or other private cloud platforms.
• Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, MQTT).
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or Elasticsearch.
• Awareness of security and compliance practices (TLS, secrets management, IAM).
• Interest in learning and contributing to DevOps process automation and toolchain improvement.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (Groovy pipelines).
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters and workloads, including Helm charts and Rancher-based environments.
• Maintain container registries, artifact repositories, and related tools (e.g., Artifactory, Vault, BitBucket).
• Automate provisioning and configuration tasks using Ansible and Terraform.
• Support the integration of infrastructure and application deployments across OpenStack and on-premise environments.
• Contribute to system monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, and runtime issues in CI/CD and Kubernetes environments.
• Ensure consistency, security, and compliance in deployment processes and configurations.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve reliability and scalability of services.

Department/Project Description

You will work as part of a cross-functional team responsible for delivering, maintaining, and improving our private cloud platform and on-premise infrastructure.
While the infrastructure engineers manage the underlying OpenStack systems, the DevOps team focuses on automation, CI/CD, and service orchestration on top of that foundation.
