Oracle DBA (offline)

Senior Administrator of Oracle SQL Server Databases in an American company in Kiev.

Autobahn Data Ukraine, a local subsidiary of a US company is looking for a Senior DBA - Oracle to work on a full-time basis in Kiev. Work from home days Internet and phone provided. On Call Bonus paid. Salary from $ 2500 and up depending on experience. By joining our team, you will be working directly for a US company. This means stability, Professional growth . This is a long term position, not just for one project.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, install and maintenance of complex database systems including data modeling, access, security, performance tuning and documentation
• Data appends
• Improving the existing data base structure and performance
• Oracle RAC 12 and Oracle Enterprise 12 DataGurad Replications (for SQL Server DBA)
• Creation of backup and recovery strategy, database consistency checking
• Stored procedures creation
• Working with Applications team for better query design and performance
• Linus Red hat Enterprise 7.6 patching installing and maintenance
• Daily reports and fine tuning
• On Call for outages at anytime

Required skills:
• Proven experience in building / managing & designing database systems that are customer facing, stable, scalable and secure
• Experience working in a high availability environment with contract binding SLAs
• In-depth database knowledge with significant expertise in Oracle Database Administration (Oracle 12); working knowledge of MySQL and SQL Server is a plus
• Extensive skills in configuration and use of Oracle software and related products
• Capacity planning, performance tuning, backup / recovery skills and the ability to configure database designed for online game requirements is essential
• Experience in Linux OS and ability to design scripts using shell and PL / SQL for automation is must
• Good understanding of various recovery scenarios along with familiarity with data replication & disaster recovery planning using cost-effective non-Oracle software is a plus
• Oracle 12 Certification is a plus
• English - Upper Intermediate level and up
