Marketing Communications Manager to $2300

We’re Scalemate — an early-stage startup (3 humans, zero fluff) building automation for marketing teams. 

Think of it: launch ads faster, standardize what works, scale the wins. B2B SaaS. Ad-tech. Builders over buzzwords.
 

We’re looking for a Marketing Communications Manager who gets excited about turning messy product truth into a clear, memorable narrative—and then spreading it everywhere our buyers hang out.


What you’ll own

  • Brand awareness & narrative. Craft the “why Scalemate” story and keep it consistent across everything.
  • Social presence (primarily LinkedIn). Company page, founder ghostwriting, and campaigns that spark replies — not yawns.
  • Content engine. Carousels, case studies, landing copy, launch threads, short videos, emails, and the occasional long-form piece that actually gets read.
  • Tone of Voice. Define it, document it, and police it with love. 
  • Community & partnerships. Spotlight power users, creators, and agencies; turn them into advocates.

You want a rigid 9–6, a content calendar that never changes, or three approvals before a tweet. We co-own the product and we ship.

  • People in ad-tech recognize Scalemate and can repeat our one-liner.
  • LinkedIn drives qualified conversations and demos, not just likes.
  • A predictable weekly publishing cadence—anchored in experiments, not vanity.
  • Clear proof points: creative tests, case studies, user stories → pipeline.

  • You know LinkedIn like a craft — company page growth, founder POV, and content formats that win attention. 
  • You’re hypothesis-driven: propose, test, measure, iterate.
  • Comfortable partnering with founders and customers; you ask sharp questions.
  • Ghostwriting for execs / thought leadership. 
     

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience turning interviews and case inputs into crisp, design-ready briefs.
