Outstaff Hiring: Remote – Contract

About the Role:

Our client is a rapidly growing European e-commerce platform within the renewable energy sector. Their mission is to simplify how installers, suppliers, and distributors connect and collaborate — providing a seamless online marketplace with real-time inventory, transparent pricing, and scalable integrations.

They’re looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to help elevate the platform’s performance, improve integrations, and craft an exceptional shopping experience for users.

You’ll work on both the frontend (UX/UI) and backend (API, data integrations) to ensure a smooth user experience and high-performance system architecture.

You’ll collaborate with marketing, operations, and logistics teams to automate processes — including shipment cost calculations, API integrations (e.g., Webkuhl, HubSpot, and logistics tools), and general platform improvements.

Location: Remote (Europe time zones)
Engagement: Full-time, long-term contract
Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Shopify front-end and back-end systems.
  Implement dynamic shipment cost integration across countries and vendors.
• Build and manage API integrations with tools such as Webkuhl, HubSpot, and vendor systems.
• Customize Shopify templates and checkout flow for B2B users.
  Optimize website speed, usability, and conversion performance.
• Ensure synchronization of product data, pricing, and inventory between systems.
• Troubleshoot bugs, test new features, and deploy updates efficiently.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and marketing to improve customer experience.

   

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing Shopify or Shopify Plus solutions
• Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and React (preferred).
• Experience with Shopify API and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and data synchronization.
  Understanding of backend logic (Node.js, PHP, or Python).
• Experience integrating shipping or logistics APIs is a strong plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)

   

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Shopify Plus and B2B setups.
• Knowledge of international shipping rules and multi-currency setups.
• Background in renewable energy or e-commerce logistics.

• Previous work on solar-related platforms is a big advantage.
