Job Description

This is a remote position. We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer with a strong background in Node.js to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in software development and be eager to learn and take on new challenges. Experience with Python and PHP is a plus. Experience with microservices architecture, proficiency with Kafka, ClickHouse, Redis, and MySQL is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure the highest quality of software.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to bring new ideas to the table.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to our continuous improvement process.
• Take on interesting challenges and learn new technologies as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Node.js.
• Proficiency in Python and PHP is a significant advantage.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Redis, and MySQL.
• Strong skills in analyzing data from various sources to identify patterns, anomalies, and insights related to fraud and risk.
• Experience in developing anti-fraud mechanisms, including the detection and prevention of fraudulent activities is a strong asset.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices to ensure the security of data and tools developed is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A proactive attitude towards learning and tackling new challenges.
