Senior Scrum Master
Our client is an innovative software company helping global organizations deliver exceptional digital experiences through high-performance, scalable platforms. They are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to guide multiple agile teams and ensure effective, timely, and high-quality delivery.

Contract: 12-month engagement, full-time (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities
Scrum Master & Agile Coaching
- Act as a servant-leader, coaching and mentoring 2–4 Scrum teams and their Product Owners and Developers on agile principles and best practices.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives) to ensure productive, outcome-focused sessions.
- Remove impediments, manage dependencies, and support continuous delivery.
- Promote self-organization, collaboration, and transparency within teams.
- Continuously improve delivery processes and adapt Scrum practices to fit team and company needs.
- Ensure Definition of Done and Definition of Ready are followed and regularly reviewed.
Delivery Management & Execution
- Partner with Product Owners to maintain a clear, prioritized backlog aligned with business goals.
- Track and report sprint and release progress, highlighting risks and issues early.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality releases meeting agreed standards.
- Manage inter-team communication, dependencies, and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Lead release planning and coordinate with marketing and other departments for go-live activities.
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks proactively.
Team Performance & Development
- Monitor agile metrics (velocity, lead time, cycle time) to drive data-based improvements.
- Prepare detailed sprint and release reports using evidence-based management.
- Support team growth through feedback, coaching, and regular one-on-one sessions.
- Maintain alignment with organizational quality standards.
- Serve as JIRA administrator, ensuring smooth tool usage and reporting.
Stakeholder Communication & Management
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage expectations and ensure delivery goals align with business priorities.
- Represent the delivery organization in company-wide meetings and facilitate customer escalation discussions when needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience leading multiple Scrum teams in an agile environment.
- Deep understanding of Scrum and agile delivery principles.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of removing delivery blockers and ensuring timely outcomes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Certifications such as CSM, PSM I/II, or SAFe SSM are highly desirable.
