Shopify App Developer

We are looking for a professional to lead and grow our Shopify App development direction. Currently, the team has only two developers focused on apps, while around 20 others work on themes. Therefore, this role is more about mentorship, coordination, and process building rather than large-scale management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide technical leadership for the Shopify App development team.
- Mentor and support two app developers, helping them solve complex technical challenges.
- Participate in designing app architecture, selecting technologies, and defining approaches.
- Conduct code reviews, implement best practices, and ensure high-quality code delivery.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to align requirements with technical solutions.
- Develop in-house expertise in Shopify Apps and establish knowledge-sharing practices.

Requirements:

- Strong experience in developing Shopify Apps (public, private, or custom).
- Proficiency with Node.js/React or other relevant technologies for Shopify Apps.
- Solid understanding of Shopify API, OAuth, Billing API, and Webhooks.
- Experience integrating payment systems and third-party services.
- Previous mentorship or code review experience, with a focus on building effective processes.
- English: Intermediate+ for documentation and communication.
