Senior Project Manager (offline)

Requires a higher level of experience with all phases of project planning, implementation, people management, and assumes responsibilities over multiple projects, actively collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing strategic direction across all streams of work and initiatives.

Requirements:

— At least 3 years of experience in managing IT projects and a track record of successfully completed projects
— At least 3 years experience in managing teams
— Upper-Intermediate English or higher
— Deep experience setting up and managing processes for a project/program from scratch
— Knowledge of industry standards and best practices pertaining to project management
— Possess proven experience in end-to-end project management of large-scale IT projects
— Knowledge and experience with Agile/Waterfall project management frameworks
— Ability to analyze, document, and effectively communicate business requirements and technical design
— Possess effective problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills
— Excellent communication and people management skills

Desirable:

— Experience with auditing projects and programs
— Knowledge of IT operation processes including risk management, change management, and incident management
— Business Analyst skills (requirements analysis, creation of technical specifications)
— Technical background (e.g. a QA, developer, and/or Solution Architect);
— Professional certification (e.g. PMI, ITIL, SCM, SPO)

Responsibilities:

— Lead mission critical Technology projects from initiation to closure (incl. change management)
— Ensure effective communication within the project team and with external stakeholders
— Clearly communicate requirements to departments, teams, and team members
— Develop tools and best practices for project monitoring, execution, and management
— Manage multiple projects and streams of work
— Be accountable for project/program results along with the project sponsor
— Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project lifecycle
— Watch for scope creep and effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved
— Constant tracking and reporting on project milestones
— Lead, coach, and motivate project team members on a proactive basis
