Senior SW Test Engineer

Due to intensive growth, GlobalLogic Automotive department is glad to invite a Senior SW Test Engineer to an Automotive project.
The project's aim is to optimize, extend with new features Automotive Solution. Our clients are Tier 1s and OEMs from Europe and USA, and development is targeted to Automotive Solution, which will be deployed in the newest European cars. The project is considered as technical excellence, and we are paying huge attention to the technical challenge motivation of our team members as well as excellence compensation.
In our project, we are building a computer-in-the-car architecture - key for enabling innovation within areas such as advanced connectivity, machine learning, and autonomous driving.

Job Description

• Office work: 5 days per week in the office.
• Deep knowledge of software testing, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Excellent knowledge of Python and experience in creating advanced automation.
• Robot Framework (nice to have)
  Basic knowledge of Ethernet.
• Basic knowledge of C (ability to understand code).
• UDS knowledge
• SomeIP (nice to have)
• Basic HW debugging hands-on experience (break points, JTag, HW debugging, etc.), trace32 (nice to have, not required)

Job Responsibilities

• This role focuses on designing and implementing automated test strategies for low-level embedded systems, specifically targeting functionality across the MCAL, ADC, OBD diagnostics, and Flash Bootloader (FBL)/SWDL processes.
• A core responsibility is developing and executing tests to rigorously validate cybersecurity features, including Secure Boot and the security of the HSM/Boot Manager architecture, ensuring compliance with TARA principles and the software signing process.
• The engineer will also be responsible for creating automated tests that verify system safety up to ASIL-B (e.g., Program Flow Monitoring, MPU configuration, Reset prevention) and for performance testing related to startup time measurement.
