IDAM Solution Architect

We are looking for a Senior IDAM Solution Architect.
You will join the Digital Identity team, focusing on CIAM, Federated Authentication, and Identity Data Management solutions.

🔹 Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Owners and the wider technology community to evolve the CIAM and customer authentication strategy.
• Assess new business demands and provide ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) estimates based on high-level requirements.
• Work with POs, UX, and engineers to define functional and non-functional requirements (NFRs) and lead the solution design.
• Support phased delivery planning for complex features and advocate for small incremental deliverables to deliver value faster.
• Ensure solution designs align with AWS/Azure Well-Architected Framework principles (security, scalability, resiliency, maintainability).
• Maintain solution integrity and reusability throughout the lifecycle.
• Support the Dev team in RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and propose solutions for complex issues during delivery or in production.

🔹 Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Federated Identity Management, CIAM, and related protocols (OpenID Connect, OAuth2, SAML 2, RFC 8176, etc.).
• Experience designing and implementing solutions for enterprise-scale B2C/B2B use cases.
• Hands-on experience designing enterprise-scale services on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) using microservice and micro-frontend architectures.
• Solid understanding of REST API standards and best practices for API design.
• Familiarity with the AWS/Azure Well-Architected Framework (security, performance, scalability, maintainability, cost management).
• Ability to document and present solution designs using UML or C4 models.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex solutions to cross-functional audiences.
• Experience working in Agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).

🔹 Nice to have:

• Experience working in SAFe and understanding Value Stream aligned delivery.
• Experience designing and building TM Forum-compliant APIs.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture.
• Technical background in .NET/Java, Node.js & React, or similar JavaScript-based technologies.
