Product Owner (offline)

Requirements

Product Owner experience with agile methodologies;
Experience in writing Technical Design Documents or Technical Requirements;
Understanding of Agile methodologies and engineering practices;
Experience of communication with foreign partners;
Experience writing user stories, grooming product backlogs and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements;
Proactiveness and communication and negotiation skills;
Highly developed problem-solving, analytical thinking skills;
Solid understanding of engineering practices;
Good level of spoken and written English.

Recommended Experience

Technical background — understanding of object modern programming concepts, database design principles, cloud computing, etc.

Responsibilities

Set and pass on the product vision to the team;
Clearly identify and describe product backlog items in order to build a shared understanding of solution with the development team;
Collect, store, and keep up-to-date product requirements and technical documentation;
Make decisions regarding the priority of the customer/internal requests;
Contribute to establishing, enforcing and improvement of Software Development policies and procedures to constantly improve operational effectiveness.

- Fintech Solution

We are R&D partner of Dozens — a branchless challenger financial institution, which comprises the full functionality of personal money management. It is an all-in-one platform: an app-only bank, a budgeting app, and an investment platform. We have delivered the first app version within 9 months from scratch. The number of app users has reached 10K in three months after the first public release. Dozens has entitled a gamechanger and ranked the 6th top position amongst the fintech solutions in the UK Startups 100 List.
Dozens as a solution consists of native apps for iOS and Android, a backoffice, admin panel, and website. The system architecture utilizes micro-services architecture and 20+ third-party integrations. We use different programming languages and investigate innovative technological approaches depending on which of them suits the best for specific business needs. The product has a long-term plan for expansion of new markets, and implementation of new functionality, as well as to build own solutions to substitute integrated services.

Technology stack for the position: .NET Core, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Lambda, React.

Current team: 30-35 people (a maximum load on the peak was 80+ experts).
